Rega Elicit MK5 - Integrated amplifier with 2 x 105 watts, MM RIAA, and built-in DAC

The Rega Elicit MK5 builds on more than 30 years of development of one of the manufacturer's most popular integrated amplifiers. In its fifth generation, it combines the well-known analog Rega sound with a new digital section, making the Elicit MK5 the first integrated Rega amplifier with a built-in DAC.

Large parts of the analog design are also inspired by the flagship Aethos. The result is an integrated amplifier with high build quality, great flexibility, and engaging music reproduction.

The Elicit MK5 builds on a number of the technical solutions from the Rega Aethos. The preamp section uses a discrete design with FET transistors, quality relays, and carefully selected components that work together to preserve the signal's natural character.

The short signal path and thoughtful design contribute to an open, dynamic, and musical reproduction where detail and timing are preserved throughout the entire signal chain.

For the first time with built-in DAC

For the first time, Rega has integrated a digital converter into one of its integrated amplifiers. The built-in DAC makes it possible to connect, for example, a streamer, CD player, or TV directly via the optical or coaxial digital inputs.

This provides access to Rega's many years of experience with digital audio without the need for a separate D/A converter and makes the Elicit MK5 a flexible solution in both analog and digital hi-fi systems.

Ready for vinyl

Although the Elicit MK5 now also supports digital audio sources, the analog section remains a central part of the design.

The built-in MM RIAA amplifier makes it possible to connect a turntable directly and is optimized for both Moving Magnet and high-output Moving Coil cartridges. This makes the Rega Elicit MK5 a natural hub in a modern hi-fi system with vinyl, streaming, and other analog audio sources.

With 2 x 105 watts into 8 ohms, the Rega Elicit MK5 has plenty of power to drive a wide range of speakers.

The high-current class A/B design combines dynamics with precise control and delivers a natural, balanced, and effortless reproduction at both low and high volume levels.

Designed for music lovers

Rega Elicit MK5 combines classic British hi-fi with modern functionality. The design matches, among other things, the Rega Saturn MK3 CD player and fits naturally into a complete Rega system.
