The Pro-Ject T1 EVO is built with a CNC-milled wooden plinth with no plastic parts and no hollow spaces inside. This design choice is not accidental. By eliminating hollow spaces and plastic parts, unwanted vibrations that can be transferred to the cartridge and cause distortion in the sound are reduced. When vibrations are minimized, you get a cleaner and more precise reproduction of your music, where even the finest details come through clearly.

Resonance-free glass platter for stable playback

The turntable is equipped with a heavy glass platter designed to be resonance-free. Lighter platters made of plastic or thin steel can vibrate and create resonance, which affects playback stability and sound quality. The heavy glass platter ensures smooth rotation and stable speed, allowing the stylus to follow the groove with maximum precision. This results in more dynamic and detailed sound reproduction.

Precise one-piece aluminum tonearm

The T1 EVO's tonearm is a one-piece construction made entirely of aluminum. Because it is a single piece with no joints or moving parts, microscopic movements that can interfere with the stylus tracking the groove are avoided. The low-friction bearings in the tonearm ensure that it moves lightly and precisely across the record.
