Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 is sold as a demo model in really excellent condition. The turntable may have been used for demonstration in our store or returned by a customer through our Buy & Try program. It has, of course, been thoroughly inspected and tested by our specialists and works 100% as it should.

Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 is an outstanding turntable that sets a whole new standard for its price class. Debut EVO 2 is now equipped with a heavy, TPE-damped aluminum platter, which effectively reduces unwanted resonances and ensures stable rotation. The new 8.6" one-piece carbon fiber tonearm also provides more precise tracking of your records, resulting in more detailed and dynamic sound reproduction.

The included Pick it MM EVO cartridge has been developed by Pro-Ject in collaboration with the experts at Danish Ortofon, and the result is exceptionally successful. Here you get a lively and authentic sound that really makes your music shine. Add to that a sophisticated motor suspension, a clean power supply, and support for Pro-Ject’s True Balanced connection, and you get a turntable that is best in class.

Specially designed aluminum platter with TPE damping – Eliminating unwanted resonances

One of the most noticeable upgrades on the Debut EVO 2 is the heavy aluminum platter. By integrating a ring of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) on the inside, unwanted resonances are effectively damped. This is crucial because resonances can distort the sound and introduce unwanted vibrations. The TPE-damped platter ensures stable rotation and cleaner sound reproduction, so you can enjoy the music exactly as the artist intended.

8.6" one-piece carbon fiber tonearm – Precision and detail in every note

Debut EVO 2 is equipped with a lightweight and super-rigid tonearm made from a single carbon fiber construction. This advanced tonearm is crucial for precise tracking of the record grooves. This cartridge is tailored to match the tonearm and brings out the best in your vinyl records.

Adaptive Anti-Skating mechanism – Optimal tracking

To ensure that the stylus always follows the record grooves perfectly, Debut EVO 2 is equipped with an adaptive anti-skating mechanism. The skating force varies between the outer and inner tracks on the record, and this mechanism automatically adjusts the counterforce accordingly. For audiophiles who want to maximize sound quality, Debut EVO 2 is prepared for Pro-Ject’s True Balanced Connection technology. By upgrading to an MC cartridge or the special Pick it PRO Balanced, you can benefit from a fully balanced signal path. This significantly reduces noise and interference, resulting in even cleaner and more detailed sound reproduction. It is a feature normally found only in professional recording studios.

The gold-plated RCA connectors ensure optimal signal transfer to your amplifier, and the included Connect it Phono E cable is high quality with copper conductors for lossless signal transmission. Create maximum contact between the record and the platter with Record Puck E

To get the absolute best out of your Debut EVO 2, you can add Pro-Ject’s Record Puck E (sold separately). This weight presses the record more firmly against the platter, improving contact and reducing unwanted vibrations.
