Automat A2 combines classic analog sound with true ease of use. With a fully mechanical automatic system, you get the convenience of an automatic turntable – without compromising on sound quality. One press of start is all it takes: the tonearm finds the lead-in groove by itself, and when the music is over, it gently returns to its resting position while the motor switches off.

At the same time, A2 gives you freedom and flexibility. You can choose where the stylus should start on both 7” singles and 12” LPs at 45 RPM, and with support for 78 RPM, you can rediscover your old shellac collection. During playback, the automatic mechanism stays completely out of the picture – so the only thing you hear is your music.

WHY SUB-CHASSIS?

Automatic turntables require many precise mechanical parts. That normally means more cavities in the chassis – and therefore more resonances. Automat A2 solves this with a floating sub-chassis, where the tonearm, bearing, and motor are mounted on a separate, decoupled structure. The result is significantly better isolation from vibrations, resonances, and external noise – especially a major advantage if the turntable is placed close to the speakers.
