Advanced DPC Array for optimal sound dispersion

The R3ic is equipped with Perlisten’s patented Directivity Pattern Control (DPC) Array, which consists of a 28 mm silk dome tweeter and a 28 mm silk dome midrange. This advanced waveguide ensures controlled and precise sound dispersion, resulting in a flat frequency response angled toward a 30-degree main listening position. This design minimizes reflections and ensures a consistent sound experience across the listening area. 

THX Dominus certification for uncompromising sound quality

As one of the first in-ceiling speakers, the R3ic achieves THX Dominus certification, meaning it meets the strictest requirements for sound quality in large home theaters up to 184 cubic meters. This ensures that the R3ic delivers a powerful and detailed sound experience, even in the most demanding audio environments.

Specially developed drivers for deep and dynamic sound

The R3ic uses the same silk dome tweeters and midrange drivers as well as specially developed 6.5" pulp-based woofer drivers as the rest of the R Series. This ensures deep and dynamic bass reproduction that complements the clear high frequencies and midrange, resulting in a harmonious and balanced sound profile. 

Versatile integration in home theater systems

The R3ic’s design makes it extremely versatile, enabling use as an LCR (left, center, right), surround, height, or wide channel speaker. It is optimized for in-ceiling applications where a 30-degree reference axis is desired, as well as a larger listening area directed toward the listening position. This makes the R3ic ideal for high-end Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D applications.

The R3ic is built with a solid 4 mm thick aluminum back box that ensures consistent sound reproduction and limits sound transmission to other rooms.
