12" bass driver – power and precision in perfect balance

Perlisten D12s is equipped with a newly developed 12" bass driver that combines lightness and rigidity with a carbon-fiber cone to deliver lightning-fast and precise response. Perlisten has chosen to use a long-stroke design, which gives the D12s incredibly long excursion, so you get basement-deep bass that reaches all the way down to 20 Hz. Without distortion.

The long-stroke design allows the driver to move farther back and forth without losing control, helping to provide higher sound pressure and more detailed reproduction. In addition, the driver is equipped with Nomex spiders, which improve the cone's stability and durability under high load, as well as aluminum shorting rings that reduce magnetic distortion and ensure cleaner sound.

1500-watt RMS amplifier – superior control and power

At the heart of the D12s is an extremely efficient 1500-watt RMS amplifier, specially developed to deliver unmatched control and power. The amplifier can handle even the most dynamic soundtracks without losing precision. As one of the few subwoofers on the market, the Perlisten D12s is certified according to the THX Dominus standard. This certification means that the subwoofer can deliver a cinema experience even in the largest rooms. THX Dominus guarantees optimal performance without compromise, even at demanding volume levels or under acoustic challenges. However, to achieve certification in a home theater setup, two D12s must be used as a pair.

ADVANCED DSP WITH EXCEPTIONAL PRECISION AND LOW LATENCY

Perlisten D12s is equipped with an advanced digital signal processor (DSP) that provides an exceptional degree of flexibility and precision. The DSP operates with a 48-bit data path and is powered by a powerful 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor, enabling advanced signal processing with one of the lowest latencies on the market – down into the microsecond range. This technology ensures extremely fast response and dynamic reproduction of deep bass frequencies without distortion.

The subwoofer includes a 10-band parametric equalizer, giving full control over the frequency response. The user can adjust gain, center frequency, and Q value for each band, allowing the subwoofer's performance to be optimized for the room's acoustics and individual preferences. Basic settings such as volume, phase, and crossover frequency can easily be managed via the built-in 2.4” LCD touchscreen, while more advanced adjustments can be made through Perlisten's dedicated app for iOS and Android. With this powerful DSP, the D12s offers a perfect balance of precision, control, and speed that meets the demands of even the most discerning listeners.

FLEXIBLE EQ PROFILES AND USER-DEFINED SETTINGS

D12s is equipped with three preset EQ profiles that make it easy to adapt the subwoofer's sound to different room sizes and acoustic conditions:

• THX EQ: 20-296Hz (-6dB) / 16-380Hz (-10dB) – Optimized for neutral and precise sound reproduction.
• Boost (Large Room) EQ: 16-296Hz (-6dB) / 14-380Hz (-10dB) – Ideal for larger rooms where extra fullness in the bass is desired.
• Cut (Small Room) EQ: 25-296Hz (-6dB) / 19-380Hz (-10dB) – Perfect for smaller rooms where more controlled bass is needed.

In addition to the preset profiles, the D12s can store up to three user-defined presets. These presets give you complete freedom to tailor the sound for different uses, such as music, movies, or gaming. All settings can be adjusted and saved via the app, making it easy to adapt the subwoofer's performance to any situation.
