The Pearl A2s

PERLISTEN A2S – THE VERSATILE SURROUND SPEAKER

Perlisten A2s is developed as the flexible solution in the A series – a compact speaker designed to work perfectly as a side, rear, or ceiling speaker in a cinema or immersive audio setup. With Perlisten’s own waveguide technology and the combination of a 35 mm Teteron tweeter and a 215 mm carbon-fiber woofer, the A2s delivers a precise, detailed, and dynamic sound experience that matches the other models in the series.

This "Swiss Army knife" of speakers can be used in everything from advanced home theaters to versatile stereo setups, and it pairs naturally with the other speakers in the A series.

SOUND AND PERFORMANCE

The A2s is designed to deliver a wide and precise soundstage, making it ideal for use in surround and overhead channels. With typical bass extension down to 50 Hz, it delivers full-bodied and controlled low end, while the tweeter in the waveguide ensures that the sound remains precise and consistent throughout the room.

Despite its compact format, the A2s can reach up to 109 dB in sound pressure without distortion exceeding 3%. That makes it a serious performer in both smaller and larger setups.

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

The A2s measures 45 cm in height, 28 cm in width, and 22 cm in depth, and is designed as an acoustic sealed enclosure that minimizes resonances and provides tight and precise bass reproduction. It is intended to be mounted directly on the wall or ceiling using Perlisten’s tilt/swivel brackets, providing great flexibility in placement and integration.
