Streaming with a focus on the music

Naim NDX 2 is designed for the music listener who wants modern streaming combined with the qualities of a dedicated high-end music source.

Naim's NP800 platform handles streaming and network playback, while the internal Burr-Brown PCM1792A DAC and Naim's analog output stage take care of the subsequent signal processing.

At the same time, NDX 2 is developed with a focus on timing, dynamics, and rhythm – qualities that are central to Naim's approach to music reproduction. The result is a network player where functionality and the musical experience are conceived as a unified whole.

Built like a serious hi-fi component

NDX 2 is designed as a dedicated music source and not just as a streamer with many features. The construction focuses on, among other things, power supply, mechanical isolation, and signal processing with the aim of reducing electrical and mechanical noise.

The front 5" color display shows album covers and information about the music being played. Via the Naim App, you can control streaming, internet radio, network music, and the player's various inputs.

This makes NDX 2 well suited as the digital center of an ambitious Naim system, but it can also be combined with electronics from other high-end manufacturers.

Option for external power supply

One of the options with the Naim NDX 2 is to connect a compatible external Naim power supply. This makes it possible to further develop the system later without replacing the network player itself.
