DRIVER TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERED FOR MUSICALITY AND VERSATILITY

At the heart of the 105 AER is a 50mm dynamic driver, a direct development of Meze's driver platform known from both the 109 PRO and 105 SILVA. The W-shaped dome in carbon fiber reinforced cellulose delivers clear and clean treble without harshness, while the torus in PEEK – a high-tech polymer material – provides optimal stiffness and low mass, resulting in fast transients and better control over resonances.

The precise placement of fine channels in the torus further helps to disperse resonance and improve tonal balance. A copper-zinc stabilizer around the diaphragm reduces micro-vibrations and ensures clear and uncolored sound reproduction.
