To ensure maximum sample-rate compatibility without distortion-causing interpolation errors, the CD 50N is equipped with two high-speed, high-precision master clocks placed close to the DAC. One clock is dedicated to 44.1 kHz sample rates and their multiples, as well as DSD, while the other handles 48 kHz and its multiples. By using separate clocks for different sample rates, jitter is eliminated, resulting in more precise and natural sound reproduction.
