KECES Euphony – DAC and network streamer with the music at the center
KECES Euphony combines DAC and network streamer in one compact hi-fi component. You can stream directly with Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect, play music from your network, or connect digital sources via USB, optical, and coaxial.
Inside, KECES has placed special emphasis on the signal path, power supply, and analog output stage. Euphony is built with a fully balanced signal path, discrete I/V conversion, and separate power supplies for the digital and analog circuits as well as the MCU section. The result is a flexible streaming DAC for those who want to bring together the digital part of the system without giving up a classic hi-fi design.

KECES Euphony as a DAC
A central part of Euphony is the work done on the analog section after D/A conversion. Here, KECES uses a fully balanced I/V conversion with discrete components rather than standard operational amplifiers.
According to KECES, the design was developed with the aim of reducing distortion while preserving dynamics, midrange body, and stable placement of instruments in the soundstage. The digital processor has also been selected and customized with a focus on digital filtering, timing, and stable data processing.
This makes Euphony interesting for those who are not just looking for convenient streaming, but also place importance on the design of the DAC and the subsequent analog signal path.
Network streamer with Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect
KECES Euphony has integrated network streaming, allowing you to combine streamer and DAC in the same component. Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect are supported directly, while Qobuz, Deezer, and TuneIn, among others, can be used via the accompanying app.
With DLNA, you can also play music from your own network. Euphony can connect via both 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and Ethernet, so you can choose the network connection that best suits your setup.
Other digital audio sources can be connected via USB, optical, or coaxial. The USB input supports PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD256. The optical and coaxial inputs handle PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz as well as DSD64. Bluetooth 5.1 also provides a simple option for wireless playback directly from, for example, your phone.
Separate power supplies for the different circuits
KECES has divided the power supply so that the digital circuits, the analog section, and the MCU control each have separate supplies. The purpose is to limit electrical interference between the different parts of Euphony.
At the heart of the power supply is KECES's own H-Sonic™ toroidal transformer, which according to the manufacturer is developed and produced in-house with a focus on low mechanical and electromagnetic noise as well as stable power delivery.
The analog signal can be sent on to your amplifier via either RCA or balanced XLR. For the XLR connection, KECES uses locking Neutrik terminals, while the RCA terminals are 24-karat gold-plated.
With dimensions of 220 × 220 × 66 mm, Euphony brings together streaming, D/A conversion, and analog outputs in a relatively compact chassis. It is therefore an obvious choice for a system where you want DAC and streamer in one unit, while still wanting to choose the amplifier and the rest of the signal chain yourself.
