Deep and controlled bass reproduction
SSW-3 is built to deliver bass that goes deep while maintaining control. The two 10” drivers work together to create smooth and stable reproduction that supports both movies and music. This provides low-end that is experienced as a natural part of the soundstage rather than something that dominates.
Built for in-wall installation
The subwoofer is designed to fit standard 2x6 wall constructions, making installation simpler and more predictable. The integrated cabinet ensures consistent performance while keeping the speaker hidden. It is a solution that fits well into dedicated home theaters, where appearance is just as important as sound.
Stable construction with a focus on performance
The front is built from Sonoglass® and combined with a braced MDF cabinet, which reduces vibrations and provides more controlled reproduction. This contributes to bass that feels tight and precise, even at higher volume levels.
Flexible part of a complete system
SSW-3 is developed for use with external amplifiers and fits naturally into a JBL Synthesis setup. It can be combined with multiple units to achieve more even bass in the room, which is an advantage in larger home theaters with multiple seats.
