Technology developed for clarity and control

At the heart of the XD-6 is JBL's combination of a 6.5" polypropylene graphite-filled woofer and a 1" aluminum dome tweeter mounted in the patented HDI™ waveguide. This provides dispersion that is both wide and controlled, so the sound remains clear and homogeneous - no matter where in the room or outdoor area you are listening.

The acoustic lens in front of the tweeter ensures that high frequencies are reproduced with precision and low distortion, while the rigid woofer delivers rich, controlled bass down to 55 Hz.

IP67 – Built for all weather conditions

The XD-6 is designed to withstand extreme conditions. With an IP67 rating against water, dust and temperature fluctuations from -35°C to 75°C, the speaker can be used all year round, whether mounted on a patio, in a summer house, by a pool or in a demanding indoor installation such as a kitchen, spa area or retail environment.

The cabinets are available in black or white finishes, and JBL has designed the XD series as the first repairable IP67 models on the market, so the products can last for many years and be maintained sustainably.

Easy installation and flexible placement

The included adjustable wall mount makes it easy to angle the XD-6 precisely towards the listening area, whether the speaker is mounted horizontally or vertically. Its compact shape and clean aesthetics make it a natural fit both indoors and outdoors.
