Eversolo AMP-F8 Class AB power amplifier
Eversolo AMP-F8 is a powerful Class AB power amplifier for those who have already chosen a streamer, DAC, or preamplifier and want a dedicated power stage for both larger and more demanding speakers. It delivers 2 x 180 watts RMS into 8 ohms and 2 x 280 watts RMS into 4 ohms, while bridged mode provides up to 500 watts RMS into 8 ohms.
However, AMP-F8 is about more than just high output power. Eversolo combines the Class AB design with Class A bias at low power levels, precision-matched MOSFETs, and a large linear power supply. The result is a power amplifier developed for a hi-fi system built around separate components – and a natural match for Eversolo’s own streamers and preamplifiers.

Power and control for demanding speakers
Eversolo AMP-F8 combines high power with a power supply designed to maintain control over the speakers. The output of 180 watts per channel into 8 ohms rises to 280 watts into 4 ohms, and Eversolo specifies a damping factor of over 400. This is especially relevant when large bass drivers need to start and stop precisely, or when the speaker presents a more demanding load.
The output stage uses three pairs of precision-matched high-current MOSFETs per channel. They operate in parallel and share the load between them. At the same time, Eversolo specifies THD+N at 0.003% at 1 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 115 dB A-weighted.
The design is therefore not only developed to deliver high power. It is also intended to provide favorable conditions for preserving smaller details and dynamic variations when the music becomes complex.
Large linear power supply
At the heart of the AMP-F8 is a specially developed 800-watt toroidal transformer with separate power supply sections for the left and right channels. In addition, there are 24 audio-grade filter capacitors that act as an energy reserve when the music requires extra current.
Eversolo has also integrated a DC-blocking circuit that reduces the impact of DC offset on the mains supply. Among other things, this can limit mechanical vibrations and hum from the toroidal transformer.
The power supply is therefore a central part of the design of the Eversolo AMP-F8 and supports the amplifier’s ability to deliver power during dynamic swings in the music.
Use AMP-F8 in stereo or bridged mode
Eversolo AMP-F8 has both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs. This makes it possible to combine the power amplifier with different preamplifiers, DACs, and streamers with variable output.
It is, among other things, an obvious match with the Eversolo DMP-A8 Gen 2 or DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 if you want a hi-fi system with separate streaming, preamplification, and power amplification.
If you need more power, the AMP-F8 can be bridged and deliver 500 watts RMS into 8 ohms. This also makes it possible to build a system with two AMP-F8 units, where each power amplifier drives its own speaker.
The electronics are housed in a CNC-machined aluminum chassis. On the front, the analog VU meters give the AMP-F8 a classic visual element that contrasts with the otherwise modern Eversolo design.
