Esotar 3 tweeter with a focus on detail
Legend uses Dynaudio's Esotar 3 tweeter, which is also found in the manufacturer's more expensive models and professional monitoring systems. The tweeter works quickly and precisely, providing reproduction with a high level of detail and good control in the treble.
This means that voices and instruments stand out clearly in the soundstage without sounding sharp or harsh.
MSP driver with natural balance
The 15 cm MSP driver handles both bass and midrange. The material provides stable, uniform movement, helping the speaker maintain calm and balance throughout the entire midrange.
This provides a more natural reproduction of vocals and acoustic instruments, while the low end remains controlled.
Focus on coherence in the sound
The crossover works with a smooth transition between the drivers. This creates a soundstage where the details connect naturally, and where instruments are positioned steadily between the speakers.
Legend works particularly well in small to medium-sized rooms, where a precise stereo image and focus in the soundstage matter a lot.
Cabinet built for stability
The cabinet is internally braced to reduce vibrations and resonances. The rear-facing bass reflex port adds extra depth in the low end without making the reproduction heavy or slow.
At the same time, the rosewood veneer gives the speaker a warm, classic look that fits well into both modern and traditional surroundings.
Requires a good amplifier
Legend performs best with a stable, high-current amplifier. Its sensitivity places demands on the electronics, but the reward is a speaker that responds precisely to the quality of the rest of the system.
This makes it well suited to serious stereo setups, where you want to hear the difference in both recordings and equipment.
