Big Dynaudio sound in a compact format

Emit 20 is the larger bookshelf speaker in the Emit series and is made for those who want more fullness and authority than a traditional compact speaker, while still keeping the flexibility of a stand-mounted design.

The large 18 cm MSP woofer/midrange delivers surprisingly deep and controlled bass, while the midrange is reproduced openly and naturally. This gives voices plenty of presence and instruments the right size and weight.

The Cerotar tweeter is based on technology from Dynaudio’s more expensive series and uses the characteristic Hexis inner dome. The result is a detailed and airy treble that retains its natural character – even when played loud.

Made for music

One of the strengths of the Emit 20 is the balance between detail, dynamics, and musicality. This is not a speaker that tries to impress with exaggerated treble or bass. Instead, you get a coherent and engaging presentation that works with virtually all music genres.

At the same time, Emit 20 has enough headroom to perform well in both smaller and medium-sized rooms. With a good amplifier, it can deliver a surprisingly large soundstage with precise placement of voices and instruments.

Dynaudio technology from the larger series

Although Emit is the entry point to Dynaudio’s speaker range, the technology is taken from the brand’s more expensive designs. The MSP cone is a classic Dynaudio design, while the Cerotar tweeter is based on experience from, among others, the Evoke series.

This gives the Emit 20 a mature and well-balanced sound, making it interesting both as a first serious hi-fi speaker and as a compact solution for a more ambitious music system.
