Børresen Z1 CRYO is a compact high-end speaker developed for listeners who want maximum musicality, precision, and a sense of space from a relatively compact cabinet. Although the model physically belongs among standmount speakers, it delivers a soundstage that feels significantly larger than its size suggests. The Z1 series uses Børresen’s own proprietary ribbon tweeter as well as a light and rigid bass/midrange driver with a carbon fiber and Nomex construction. At the same time, the speaker works with an advanced magnet structure developed with a focus on low inductance and precise control of the drivers’ movements.
