Axxess L1 - Compact speaker with advanced technology and exceptional musicality

Axxess L1 is a compact speaker developed and designed by the Børresen engineering team under the leadership of Michael Børresen and Flemming Erik Rasmussen. This speaker is created according to the same overall sound and design philosophy as Børresen speakers, and it delivers a listening experience of the highest class.

Diaphragms with extreme rigidity and lightness

The speaker diaphragm was developed in-house by Børresen’s skilled engineers and is designed to achieve maximum rigidity with minimal noise. The diaphragm consists of three layers laminated into a single unit: two layers of spread carbon fiber with a layer of aramid honneycomb spacers in between. This ensures dynamic and precise sound reproduction.

Axxess magnet system

L1 uses double copper caps on the pole rings in the speaker’s magnet motor to achieve high flux and low inductance. The careful engineering of the woofer-midrange driver ensures that you experience music with exceptional clarity and depth.

Axxess Ribbon Tweeter

The tweeter diaphragm is made of Kapton, an incredibly lightweight material. Compared with a dome tweeter, it is 25 times lighter, and due to the ribbon tweeter principle, the area is twice as large. This ribbon tweeter technology ensures a more immersive listening experience that brings you closer to the music.

A cabinet without distortion

The speaker cabinet and front are made of a natural composite material that eliminates sonic distortion and allows you to experience the music in its purest form.

Axxess Stand

The floor stand is also made of a natural composite material and is inspired by Ansuz, Aavik, and Børresen. It enhances both the speaker’s aesthetic expression and its performance.
