OCXO clock with a focus on timing

At the core of the NH10 is a temperature-controlled OCXO clock with very high frequency stability. At the same time, the FPGA control synchronizes the internal processes based on one shared clock reference.

The precise clocking contributes to more stable timing in network traffic and creates optimal operating conditions for the connected audio components.

Ready for an external master clock

The NH10 is equipped with a BNC input for an external 10 MHz master clock. This makes it possible to integrate the switch into more advanced digital music systems where multiple devices operate from the same clock reference.

For owners of the Aurender MC10 or MC20, this enables even closer integration between the components in the system.

Power supply with a focus on low noise

Aurender has chosen a fully linear power supply without DC-to-DC converters. All circuits are powered via linear regulation with a focus on reducing electrical noise and creating stable operating conditions.

This limits the influence of the power supply and supports clean and stable signal processing throughout the entire network switch.

Galvanic isolation and signal filtering

The RJ45 ports use network signal filtering, while the optical SFP ports provide full galvanic isolation between the connected devices.

This reduces electrical coupling between the components and helps keep the signal path free from unnecessary noise interference in the digital music system.

Built for serious streaming solutions

The chassis is made of CNC-machined aluminum, which both acts as shielding and provides a stable platform for the internal circuits. The LED lighting for the port indicators can also be turned off to further minimize electrical noise.
