Big sound from Audiovector’s compact top model

R1 Arreté is made for the music lover who wants the resolution, speed, and musicality normally associated with much larger high-end speakers, but in a compact format.

The advanced R AMT Arreté tweeter responds extremely quickly and gives the music an open and airy presentation with plenty of detail, without the top end becoming harsh or fatiguing. Together with the fast 6.5" carbon woofer/midrange, it creates a large and three-dimensional soundstage where voices and instruments are placed freely and naturally in the room.

The bass also surprises with both depth and control. R1 Arreté is not about making a small speaker sound big, but about making the speaker disappear so the music is left to stand on its own.

Arreté technology makes the difference

Arreté is Audiovector’s highest level, and that is evident in both the construction and the small details. Among other things, R1 Arreté uses carefully selected crossover components and Audiovector’s SEC principle, where an extra Air Motion Transformer works toward the rear and helps control the energy inside the cabinet.

Freedom Grounding® also makes it possible to direct unwanted electrical currents away from the speaker drivers. The goal of these technologies is not to change the speaker’s character, but to remove more of what stands between you and the music.

R1 Arreté is developed and hand-built at Audiovector in Denmark. The distinctive cabinet with non-parallel surfaces reduces standing waves and unwanted resonances, while the narrow front helps the speaker create a wide and precise stereo image.

As part of Audiovector’s Individual Upgrade Concept, the speaker is also designed with a focus on long service life. Arreté is already the highest level in the R1 series, but Audiovector’s philosophy around upgrades and service makes it possible to keep the speakers current for many years to come.
