Powerful Class D amplifier with UMAC^TM

The U-288 uses the latest Pascal Class D amplifier technology with fast UMAC switching modulation. This results in high efficiency, low distortion and improved control over your speakers. With total harmonic distortion (THD+N) of only 0.0028% at 1 watt and 1 kHz into 8 ohms, the U-288 delivers exceptionally clean and precise sound reproduction. The low intermodulation distortion (IMD) and transient intermodulation (TIM) mean that even the finest details in the music are preserved, providing a clear and undisturbed listening experience.

Built-in world-class streaming

The built-in streamer gives you access to a huge universe of music directly from the internet. Active Tesla Coils – Superior noise reduction

To ensure crystal-clear sound without interference, the U-288 is equipped with 72 active Tesla coils. These act as effective noise reducers by eliminating electrical noise in the signal path. 3rd Gen Analog Dither Technology – Deeper insight into the music

Aavik U-288 uses third-generation analog dither technology with 6 dither circuits. Inspired by principles from radar technology, this technology improves signal strength by sending pulsing signals at precisely defined frequencies in counterphase. This significantly reduces the noise level and amplifies the musical signal, resulting in a more open soundstage and outstanding detail retrieval. Anti Aerial Resonance Coil Technology – Protection against RF noise

The U-288 is equipped with 8 anti aerial resonance coils that protect against airborne RF noise. Cables and shields can act as antennas and pick up unwanted noise, but these coils act as a barrier that absorbs and eliminates these disturbances. Active Square Tesla Coils – Clearer and more precise sound

Embedded in the circuit boards, you will find 144 active square Tesla coils, with one coil on top and an opposite coil on the back.
