Pure Class A with a focus on musicality

The P-880 operates constantly in Class A. This provides playback with high stability and a more natural transition between tones and dynamics. The music flows freely, and the soundstage retains its calm character – even as the load increases.

The low output impedance also provides better control over the speakers. This is especially noticeable in the bass and in complex passages, where the amplifier maintains both detail and dynamics.

Power supply with massive reserves

The P-880 uses four separate resonant mode power supplies. They deliver power with very low noise and respond quickly when the music demands extra energy.

This provides a more stable foundation for playback. Large dynamic swings are delivered with ease, while small details still stand out clearly.

Short signal path and low noise

The power supply is placed close to the transistor banks to keep the signal path as short as possible. This reduces noise and helps preserve the signal's precision throughout the entire circuit.

The P-880 works with active and passive Tesla coils as well as analog dither technology to reduce electrical noise. At the same time, anti aerial resonance coils limit RF noise from the surroundings.

The zirconium-based resonance technology further helps keep the signal clean. This provides more calm in the reproduction and makes small nuances easier to hear.

Signal control without traditional switches

The P-880 uses optical gain control based on LDR technology. This means the signal avoids traditional relays and switches that can add noise.

This helps preserve resolution, timing, and the finest details in the music.

The cabinet combines copper, titanium, and compact laminate in a sandwich construction that reduces vibrations and resonances. The materials have been chosen to create a stable working foundation for the electronics.
