Developed with a focus on pure signal processing

Rega Osiris is built around an unusually simple circuit design, where the signal passes through as few active stages as possible. Rega has combined a passive preamplifier section with a highly linear output stage, reducing complexity in the signal path and preserving the music's natural character.

This philosophy is reflected throughout the entire design and is a key part of Osiris' distinctive sonic qualities. The simple signal path contributes to an open, precise, and natural presentation, where the focus is on the music rather than the electronics.

Plenty of power even for demanding speakers

The output stage uses eight Sanken power transistors in a high-current configuration, which together with the advanced driver section provide ample current reserves.

With 162 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 250 watts per channel into 4 ohms, Rega Osiris delivers the necessary control for even speakers with demanding loads. At the same time, it maintains calm, dynamics, and headroom at both low and high volume levels, so the music is reproduced with authority and precision.

A power supply without compromise

The power supply is built with two specially developed 400 VA toroidal transformers and a full 40,000 µF of smoothing capacitance per channel. Separate power supplies for the different circuits reduce internal interference and ensure stable operating conditions for the input stage, output stage, and control electronics alike.

The result is an integrated amplifier with impressive current capacity, high stability, and controlled reproduction – even when the music places great demands on power and dynamics.

Built for a life with music

Rega Osiris is housed in a solid CNC-machined aluminum chassis that provides both mechanical stability and effective heat dissipation. The robust construction is complemented by extensive protection circuits against overheating, DC faults, and short circuits, contributing to long-term reliability.

The included reference aluminum remote control matches the amplifier's high level of quality and completes the experience of a product developed without compromise.
