KEF LSX II is much more than a simple upgrade from its award-winning predecessor, combining class-leading sound with the new W2 platform from LS50 Wireless II, which offers better connection and connectivity options. Connectivity has become even better with the addition of both HDMI and USB-C, making this an ideal companion for both TV and gaming.

So how does it sound? We are delighted to say that LSX II delivers rich, natural, and precise sound from any source. A sound that is only possible thanks to KEF's talented engineers and the iconic Uni-Q driver. In addition, it has a modern design by the famous industrial designer Michael Young and is available in a selection of five stylish finishes.

Unlimited connectivity options

With LSX II, you can play all the music in the world that you want. At the heart of this compact speaker, you will find the same groundbreaking W2 platform that powers LS50 Wireless II. It ensures that you can listen to music exactly the way you prefer. All without affecting sound quality.

The KEF Connect app lets you stream Amazon Music, Qobuz, Tidal, Deezer, internet radio stations, and podcasts. Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast stream audio seamlessly from compatible devices, while Bluetooth gives you even more options. You can stream directly from Spotify Connect, Tidal, and QPlay, and it is even Roon Ready. When you use Airplay 2, Chromecast, or Roon, you also have the option to stream to multiple speakers, so you can play music throughout your home.

If that were not enough, LSX II can also play your own private music collection from a compatible NAS drive or music server. The wireless speaker even has extensive file support up to 24bit/384kHz (PCM), DSD, and full MQA playback.

Plug and play for TV and laptop

In addition to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, LSX II also boasts a comprehensive collection of wired connections. These include HDMI ARC for seamless control using your TV remote and a high-quality USB-C input, which makes LSX II the perfect desktop system for your computer. There are also connections for your turntable, CD player, game console, and many other devices. And if you demand that your films and music come with some extra bass, there is a dedicated output so you can connect a KEF subwoofer for the bass you crave.

Performance in true Hi-Fi quality

The advantage of two speakers is that the music has room to breathe and unfold, creating a three-dimensional soundstage. The speakers almost disappear into the room, allowing you to immerse yourself in the music unfolding in front of you and drawing you completely into the experience.

Each LSX II speaker uses a version of KEF's 11th generation Uni-Q driver array specially designed for this speaker. This signature technology works as a point source, where the tweeter is positioned at the precise acoustic center of the woofer, recreating how sound is produced naturally. This design eliminates the traditional small 'sweet spot' and instead delivers precise, pristine sound to every listener.

LSX II has a combined system power of 200 watts. Both the tweeter and the woofer are driven by their own dedicated amplifier to deliver room-filling sound from such compact cabinets.

Performance has been further improved from the award-winning original by Music Integrity Engine. The groundbreaking suite of bespoke digital signal processing algorithms has just received an update. Music Integrity Engine, optimized for the Uni-Q driver, enables LSX II to deliver perfectly timed performance, for better clarity and a tighter, more precise sound.

A user-focused experience

The KEF Connect app guides you through setup and controls the system and playback navigation with intuitive sound settings, allowing you to adjust LSX II to best suit your room.

With its powerful Room EQ DSP, LSX II can be fine-tuned to your room and personal taste without requiring a degree in acoustic engineering. 'Normal' mode is designed to talk you through the process with simple questions - all you need is a tape measure. For easy integration of a KEF subwoofer with LSX II, Room EQ includes subwoofer presets for the best possible system performance.

LSX II also comes with a host of other user-friendly features, including volume settings, sensitivity adjustments, and the ability to choose a source to wake it when it is powered on. You can choose to connect the speakers wirelessly with 24bit/48kHz resolution for a cable-free setup, or with the included cable for 24bit/96kHz resolution.
