Scansonic HD - High-performance speakers from Denmark

After working with Raidho speakers for more than 12 years, Raidho faced an entirely new challenge when they were asked to design a new range of high-performance speakers for the Scansonic brand.

From the start, they were very focused on building on all the experience and strengths gained from designing Raidho speakers. At the same time, they also had to be mindful of the long heritage and Nordic design tradition of the Scansonic brand. This time, the task also came with a budget and a desire to create the best possible product within financial limits.

It was clear to Raidho from the very beginning that some core technologies from Raidho speakers would be important: the speakers had to be designed around a ribbon tweeter that works with a super-light diaphragm sealed around the edges to allow for a seamless transition to the midrange.
