At What Hi-Fi?, the Rega Planar 3 turntable has been named Product of the Year 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, continuing the legacy of its predecessor, which received the award for 5 consecutive years.

The Planar 3 is not the only turntable to boast repeated awards, however. Rega's cheapest turntable - the Planar 1 - has been named Product of the Year for 6 years in a row by What Hi-Fi? It's perhaps not surprising, given that Rega has spent two years developing the pickup for their entry-level line. This kind of care and attention to detail is not found in many other manufacturers.

But Rega is also much more than just their turntables. The Elex-R amplifier has received the award for best integrated amplifier of the year five years in a row. To make matters even better, the Elicit-R has also received the award for best amplifier of the year for the third year in a row.

This is also the third time that What Hi-Fi has chosen Rega Fono MM MKII as the best RIAA amplifier of the year. All these awards are the reason why Rega is today considered one of the world's best Hi-Fi manufacturers.
