Amplifiers

Turntables

This typically requires what is called a Riaa amplifier. This is because the signal from the turntable needs to be amplified before your regular amplifier receives the signal from the turntable. A Riaa amplifier can be purchased separately to match the selected turntable. However, there are several amplifiers and turntables on the market that already have this Riaa amplifier built in, and therefore in these cases there will be no need for a separate Riaa amplifier.
CD players
