Reference-quality signal processing – with Marantz HDAM technology

At the heart of the AMP 20 is Marantz's exclusive HDAM-SA2 (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules), which replace conventional op-amps and deliver significantly lower noise, better dynamics and much faster response. The technology is integrated into the input/output buffer circuits, where it plays a central role in the amplifier's superior sound quality.

Thanks to the discrete construction and separate analog/digital sections, the signal path is kept ultra-clean. The dedicated toroidal transformer is low-noise, shielded and reserved for the HDAM circuit – a luxury solution usually only found in top-of-the-line audiophile models.

The heavy, copper-plated chassis with separate stabilization of the transformer and the solid aluminum feet effectively eliminate vibrations and distortion.
