Stylish and modern design

The REL T/5x impresses with its simple and stylish design. The cabinet is slightly larger than its predecessor, but appears smaller thanks to subtle design changes that minimize its visual presence. The softly rounded corners and five hand-polished layers of lacquer in high-gloss white or piano lacquer black give the subwoofer a luxurious look. The design is free of unnecessary decorations, making the T/5x an elegant addition to any room.

Powerful and precise sound reproduction

The REL T/5x is equipped with a single 8” long throw woofer, taken from the more expensive T/7x. Here, REL has used a mix of aluminum composite and ultra-light paper, which enables it to capture even the smallest details in the sound. At the same time, it delivers enough energy to reach frequencies that are far deeper than you would otherwise think possible for a subwoofer of this size. The improved travel allows the T/5x to play higher, while upgrades to the internal suspension provide a more precise and controlled bass.

Flexible connectivity and easy setup

The T/5x builds on its predecessor's trusted 125-watt Class A/B amplifier, with upgrades that improve transparency and speed without compromising REL's legendary reliability. The subwoofer features separate inputs for High Level Inputs, Low Level Input and .1/LFE Input, making it easy to integrate into both music and home theater setups without the need to change settings. This provides a natural and seamless transition from speaker to subwoofer.

Advanced wireless technology for optimal sound quality

The REL T/5x offers optional Arrow™ wireless technology, which delivers dynamic, lifelike sound without the use of digital compression. REL’s wireless systems are known for being the fastest and most accurate in the industry. The wireless system is so fast and dynamic that REL recommends connecting one channel of a pair of RELs wirelessly, while the other channel can be connected conventionally with a cable. This provides a flexible setup without compromising on sound quality.
