Technology and sound

The core of the Xtension 10 Evolution is the massive 10.3 kg TPE-damped aluminum platter. The high mass provides quietness and torque, while the TPE damping and inverted bearing construction (stainless steel/ceramic ball with antimagnetic support) effectively eliminate micro-vibrations and bearing noise. The electronic motor control locks the speed at 33/45/78 rpm, so the music flows with precise timing, deep bass and a black backdrop.

The magnetic suspension feet are a key to the low mechanical noise: They reduce energy transfer between the turntable and the furniture, allowing the pickup to extract more detail and greater dynamics from the grooves.
