The Stage XD5 draws on technology from JBL's professional audio world and uses high-quality components. The tweeter consists of a 1" aluminum dome, coupled with JBL's own High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) waveguide. This combination provides clear and smooth treble reproduction - even when you are not sitting directly in front of the speaker. At the same time, an acoustic lens helps to control and disperse the sound, so you get a wide and balanced sound image, no matter where you place the speakers.

Bass reproduction is provided by a 5.25" woofer with a cone made of graphite-filled polypropylene. This ensures a strong and controlled bass that doesn't get muddy – even in open spaces or outdoor environments.
