Convincing bass and dynamics even without a subwoofer

The Stage 280F is equipped with dual 8" Polycellulose ribbed cone woofers. These woofers are made from a pure pulp cone with a proprietary blend of other materials that enhance their rigidity. Designed with ribs reminiscent of legendary JBL designs, these woofers deliver deep, precise and room-filling bass. The polycellulose material ensures a fast response and low distortion, providing a clear and detailed sound experience even at high volumes.

Crystal clear tweeter with anodized aluminum tweeter in HDI™ Waveguide

JBL has developed a new complex geometry for waveguides through intensive research that improves directivity, reduces diffraction and ensures a neutral frequency response both on- and off-axis. The Stage 2 HDI Horn is coupled to an anodized aluminum dome tweeter, which increases the efficiency and dynamics of high-frequency sounds. The anodized aluminum tweeter delivers a silky smooth and crystal clear reproduction of the highest frequencies, creating a wide and precise sound stage.
