Tungsten – the material that sets the standard

The heart of the Darkz S3W are the three tungsten balls, which are placed between the top discs. Tungsten (also known as tungsten) is an extremely hard and heavy metal with an incredibly dense structure. This makes it ideal for vibration decoupling, as it does not deform or transmit resonances in the same way as lighter materials. When the three discs work together with the balls, a floating and stable point is created, where unwanted mechanical vibrations are effectively channeled away from your components and into the substrate. The result is more calm, depth and precision in the sound.

Materials and cryo-treatment – ​​precision at the micro level

All metal parts in the Darkz S3W – including the stainless steel discs and titanium shaft – are cryo-treated. By cooling the metal to -196 °C, its internal crystal structure changes, increasing conductivity by up to 8%. This treatment makes the metal denser, more homogeneous and sonically more transparent. The mechanical grounding is thus both more effective and less colored. Together with the precisely milled parts and the exclusive polished finish, the S3W is not only a technical marvel – but also an elegant addition to any high-end set-up.
