The purpose is to create an isolated power platform between the mains and the connected components. At the same time, KECES states an output impedance of less than 0.008 ohm and a typical output THD of less than 0.3 %. This makes the power filter relevant when you have already spent time choosing speakers, amplifiers and sources and want to continue working with the electrical conditions the entire system starts with.
